Administrative information

When you join the selection process for the GUR Legion, 5th Squadron, you will receive the date, time and place of presentation directly from the recruiter. After presenting yourself, you will be led and will be under the responsibility of the selection instructors.

During this period, you will go through:
 

  • Physical, psychological and medical tests

  • You will receive food, accommodation and basic instructions.

  • Introductory training focusing on weapons, shooting, combat engineering

  • Receiving standard uniform

Average selection duration: 2 weeks
At the end of the selection process, and if approved, you will sign your official contract with the Legion.
The duration can be adjusted if unforeseen operational issues occur.

Post-Selection Phase – Basic Training

After selection and signing of the contract, you enter basic training, which can last from 45 days to up to 2 months, depending on operational needs and individual performance.

Contract Model

  • Maximum duration: 3 years

  • Initial trial period: 2 months

    • During this period, you can terminate the contract without penalty.

    • It can also be turned off if it does not meet the unit's standards.

Important:
After the 2 months of trial, you enter the mandatory minimum period of 6 months.
Failure to comply with this period may result in legal consequences.

After completing the mandatory 6 months, you will be able to:

  • Break the contract

  • Request unit transfer

Rest Period (Holidays)
For every 6 months of service, the volunteer is entitled to:

  • 15 days of vacation

  • + 2 days of travel

  • Total: 17 days of authorized leave

Be aware: the GUR International Legion requires commitment, discipline and endurance. Prepare yourself physically and mentally.

💰 COMPENSATION – PHANTOM BLACK COMPANY

 

📍 Base salary (out of combat):
➡️ 41 000 / 42 000 UAH
💵 Approximately $982 to $1 005 USD


📍 In area of operation (with combat bonus):
➡️ 71 000 / 72 000 UAH
💵 Approximately $1 700 to $1 725 USD


📍 Daily bonus per combat line (1st, 2nd or 3rd):
➡️ About 3 300 UAH per day
💵 Approximately $79 USD/day


📍 30 days of active operation:
➡️ Total salary can reach 140 000 UAH
💵 Approximately $3 352 USD per month
